A Milestone Moment for CASS: Launch of Our First Counselling Qualifications
We are thrilled to be able to share some long‑awaited and exciting news at Curborough Academy for Social Sciences (CASS). We have today received official approval from the Skills and Education Group to deliver our first nationally recognised qualifications.
With our centre number now confirmed, we are delighted to officially announce our first course offer: an integrated counselling programme, designed with flexibility, progression, and learner support at its heart.
Our First Offer: Integrated Counselling (Level 2 and Level 3)
Our integrated counselling course provides learners with the opportunity to complete two nationally recognised counselling qualifications within one year, at a very competitive price.
The programme begins with Level 2 Counselling Skills, delivered over the first seven weeks, followed by a smooth and supported transition into Level 3 Counselling Skills. This structure allows learners to build confidence, skills, and insight gradually, while maintaining clear progression.
Flexibility has been central to the design of this course:
- Learners who are new to counselling can begin at Level 2
- Those who already hold a relevant Level 2 qualification may join at Level 3, beginning in week seven
- Learners who decide that counselling is not the right path for them can step off after Level 2 and still gain a recognised qualification
Flexible Learning to Fit Around Real Life
To make the course accessible to as many learners as possible, we will be offering two delivery options:
- Monday daytime sessions, or
- Evening sessions from 4.00 pm to 8.30 pm
All classes are delivered live online, allowing learners to engage in real‑time discussion, skills practice, and reflection, while fitting study around work, family, or other commitments.
Experienced, Supportive Tutors
The course will be taught by Osa, with Karen focusing on theory and personal development in the evening session. Between us, we bring many years of experience delivering counselling qualifications both in live classroom settings and online.
What Learners Can Expect
- Learners on the programme will benefit from:
- Live lessons delivered to a clear and consistent timetable
- Tailored academic and pastoral support when needed
- 24/7 access to course resources and learning materials
