This short course is ideal for beginners who want to explore mental health as a potential pathway into a new career, for those seeking to deepen their understanding of mental health, or for learners engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Our experienced tutors will guide you through a structured workbook to develop your understanding of common mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety. The course also explores the impact of substance misuse, considers what is meant by wellbeing, and looks at practical ways to improve your own wellbeing and that of others.
On completion, learners may wish to progress to our Level 2 Award in Counselling Skills.
This course will run several times throughout the academic year. We also aim to expand our range of progression routes as the year develops.
To make an enquiry, please contact us by email or phone, or use the enquiry form on our website.
