Karen Benedikz

Founder and Lecturer

Karen Benedikz is the founder of Curborough Academy for Social Sciences and has been teaching since 1993. Her career began in early years education at a local FE college, and she has since taught A Levels and vocational qualifications in psychology, sociology, education, child development, counselling, and health.

Karen also works as an A Level Psychology examiner and an online tutor for A Level and degree-level courses. Her qualifications include a PGCE, BSc, and MSc in Psychology.

She is passionate about delivering meaningful education for adults that aligns with local employment opportunities.

Karen lives in Staffordshire with her husband, three adult children, and two grandchildren, and enjoys walking in the beautiful rural areas nearby.
